By default, Vimeotheque will not use the templates when displaying a video post. Instead, it will embed the video into the post content in order to not break compatibility with sites that were configured to use a plugin version prior to 2.2.
WP Theme Support
To declare theme support in your WordPress theme, use the add_theme_support function in your theme file functions.php.
Plugin Settings Theme Support
If you don’t want to edit theme files, you can also declare theme support for the Vimeotheque templates from the plugin’s Settings page, by enabling option “Enable the Vimeotheque Post Templates” which was added starting with version 2.2:
